    Need Help With a Feature

    To me it seems it should be something easy to do. Here is what I got.

    Horizontal Lathe Generic
    Imported SolidWorks Model
    The O.D. turn has 2 grooves that I will cut with a groover.

    How do I do my rought turn so it does not want to try and dive down a little when I am roughing with an 80 degree tool?

    Awesome...that did the trick. Seems like a fairly basic thing, but I am self teaching and am learning as I go.

    Thanks for your help. Gives me an idea of what those options will do.
