    MD1 and MD3 tool changer question

    I am wanting to get a new shell mill cutter to use in my Hurco's. Does anyone know what is the heaviest weight or diameter of cutter I can use?

    The 5 inch weighs 14 pounds,and the 4 inch weighs 11 pounds

    I have seen that somewhere I was looking for the specs on your machine and located all of that info.somewhere. I am pretty sure it was in a google search. maybe I can find it again and let you know.
    I would think it could handle that but I am no way an expert on that.

    That is one of the problems I am having. There is not a lot of information about the MD machines.

    Both of mine are working for now. They are not the fastest, but they do work
