Great video but your shop is way too clean
Thanks for posting - I like you clever innovations
Anyway for you to up the resolution to atleast 720 when editing?
I love your vise stop!
I've heard the YouTube stabilization called "the machine bender". I think I'd rather watch shaking video than wobbly mills.
Not sure, my camera is a Sony HDR-CX430 and does all the image stabilization itself, I just upload the vid and leave it.
I record the vast majority of my machining videos with a tripod yet YouTube routinely tells me that the video "looks shaky" and offers to try to "fix" it. I guess the movement of the vises confuses it. I wonder if YouTube allows you to revert back to the original video.
Optical stabilization is superior to digital, but it isn't a magic bullet.
Thanks for that fellas - I am using a pretty basic camera currently - a Panasonic ADR-SW20. I will try it on XP and see if that helps.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.
Sure Steve.
These pics were taken before the screen was added but should help. Next time I would attach the stand via the back or on a larger surface on the side as it is a little boarder line for rigidity where it is currently attached.
because of the corner attachment it springs a little more than I would like when I use it.
Please start a thread or post your stand when you have made it!
