Easy (hopefully) question about extruding a solid

So after evaluating (watching video's and playing with the demos) a number of products, I took the plunge and purchased BobCad V27.

Following some of the tutorials, I am trying to extrude my drawing of a pillow block and even though I have the "With Caps" turned on. It still ends up being a hollow shell. It's all drawn right in BobCad. I was able to draw it very quick and was impressed with that.

    File Attached.

    Thanks, that was exactly it.

Where should I have looked to find that?

R Click screen/entity summary,,,,,,,,,count your entities and see if it jives (ps,you had an extra arc too,,but that was not the problem)

Another way,,go to your "blank" function and highlight your geometry one by one by selecting with your cursor/R Click OK,,,,,,,,,,,what is left ????(Do not "window pick" you must pick one by one with your cursor)

On another note,it is just good practice to use your erase doubles and your clean-up/re-organize after you finish drawing. Then you don't waste time chasing things you cannot see or expect to be drawn. As you get more experience, these kind of problems get fewer and fewer. There is a reason for everything, but unless we watched over your shoulder, don't know why somethings happen.

I've done 2D drawings in ACAD for years, this was my very first drawing in BobCAD as well as my first 3D drawing ever. Not turning out so bad given all that.

Does anyone offer web based training? Not tutorials, but something like a WebEx screen sharing type deal?
