    Hello

I am still quite new to this area so I have several questions: So far I “caped” almost all my parts (is that the right expression for that?) So I take the material about 5 higher than it needs to be, mill properly at the top and mill the contour all around. Of course that doesn’t always works.
When I pre-work the overall dimension, then I first mill one side, turn the part about 180 degree and mill parallel to it. Now I have my parallel side so that I can mill side 3 and 4 now.

For that, I take a shank cutter and mill sideways past side 5, so that it’s angular. ( if the vice is positioned straight on the table) Side 6 mill parallel again.
    Sooo now my question:
What should I do when I cannot mill side 5 with a shank cutter because the part has the dimensions 100x100x100 and my longest shank cutter is only 40mm long. What do I have to do to get side 5 angular?

    Regards
    Manuel
