Chinese laser question stronger at top of the table vs bottom

I recently picked up a used chinese laser which is a 120 watt nice cut machine. Seems pretty decent for the $. It came aligned from the previous owner but I am not totally sure he knew what he was doing 100%.

My question is this, I was able to cut through in 1 passes at 80% power a piece of 1/2" MDF no problem near the top of the table. So after doing a test piece of about 8"x8" I scaled the drawing and cut up to 24" to the size the customer wants. I ran the same speed and same power and all the cuts near the top 1/2 of the table are fully through the piece. However near the bottom half they are about 1 to 2mm shallower in cut. Would this be caused by an alignment issue of the mirrors not focusing as much power at the lower points of the table?

    Hi

here are some reasons can usually cause above problem.

    1.the laser tube get old.
    2.the alignment problem
    3.the mirrors get dirty
    4.the working materials not flat
    5.the focus length not right

    thanks and regards

In my experience, this happens because

    a) the laser isn't hitting the lens dead-centre in "weak" parts of the table.
    b) the bed isn't flat, so it's going out of focus.

    Hi,
even aligned well, the laser power is not same all around the table, right top corner is strong, but left bottom is weak
thats why our LC1325M fix constant laser path system to make sure every point of the working table is same
you can check if your working table is in same level
if this also not working, then this problem hard to resolve

make sure your material and table is in same level,
use the focus ruler to check.
if the material not level, try to fix the material with magnet,
if it's the table fault, try to pad sth under the material.
    good luck
