Im sorry to say that I do not have any literature from the old control. I do have some old hardware though. There is a moderator here on cnczone called "Al The Man" he knows ton's about Fanuc Controls. You could PM him as he probably has manuals he may email to you.
Where are you based? Country? State?

The information is Machine Tool Builder specific, the PLC (PMC in Fanuc Speak) is written by the MTB. I'll be able to work through the Ladder, its just easier if you can identify the I/O without having to trace wires to get the I/O address.

Thanks for the reply. Now I understand. No I do not have a copy of the ladder for the Yoshida. Is it a feature of the 3M control to display ladder on the screen? Also, can you access the Diagnostic and parameter screens?

Hello Chich,
The PLC Ladder can't be displayed by the Fanuc 3M control. I have a copy of the Ladder program, but because it can't be displayed, its easier to trace the logic if the I/O symbol abbreviations can be accurately related to the Real World I/Os, hence the reason for seeking a copy of I/O index. The Diagnostic Page can be accessed, and its through this page that you read the various I/O state to follow the logic of the hard copy of the Ladder.
