Hi All,
I got trouble with Akira Seiki Lathe CNC machine Fanuc OT. The alarm appeared on monitor is
1014 Spindle Alarm
409 Servo Alarm: serial Err.
Check on the Spindle Amplifier, display # 12.
So please help what can I do to solve these. This Lathe CNC is year 1999. Model ASL 30.

Unfortunately Spindle alarm 12 is very rarely anything but shorted power switching devices, if so requires major repair in conjunction with testing of driver board to prevent repeat failure.

Do you have checked the IPM module.of the spindle drive unit?maximum chances of AL12 is excessive DC volt in power circuit.you can check the IPM module.i am sure you problem will be ok\
