    Exclamation 4020 HT Z axis issue ?

Our backlash on Z gone wild so we are looking for the cause....

Removed the ball screw (with the servo block). I did not feel any noticable backlash on the screw, but after puttingit back i checked the ballscrew's axial movement which is according to the dial is a bit too mutch. 0,30-0,4 mm ( 0.0118 INCH).

Ive measured this by using a dial indicator, touching the bottom of the ball screw - fixing nut has been removed from there !

What do you think ? Bearing fail on the top ?

Or this is normal ? I dont think that....
