Trying to make a stencil using our laser machine and I've been running into some trouble. I was told that it I could use cardboard to make the stencil itself but it seems I cant get the laser low enough so it doesn't start a fire or ruin the stencil design. I've tried 5 different power settings and I'm thinking at this point the laser just might be too damn strong. Any input helps. Total newbie who was thrown into this position because the previous employee just up and quit and kinda left the rest of us hanging to do his job.

what is your laser tube brand and power? each tube with the lowest power, must above that, it gives lasers
