    aka Opportunity to succeed Agie Classic v3

    I need to be able to turn while burn on a Agie Classic 3v I have a 6th axis, and no offline programming software. I have cad, and cam but not for wire edm. The circle is 5"R approximately. Anyone have any ideas other than buying software ?

    If you have 4 axis mill software you can make a 4 axis program, then edit in all the m-codes for the wire and delete what you don't need .Now I am a Fanuc guy so I don't know if the Agie is g-code or not .I know your 6 azis is x,y,u,v,z,and a .

    Thanks for the reply, I guess I could have mentioned that I am aware of how to translate g-code for resolving axis dis-alignment (aka changing the HVD), however, Agie-vision does not use programs in a manner like Fanuc. There is a way to program it offline, however I have never needed it so never bought software. I was hoping someone had software witha post for the classic and could send me a sample file so I could see the format.
