    Mori TV30 Drill/Tap XYZ Zero Location Lost

    Need help re-establishing zero position for X, Y and Z axes. Machine was fine until I tried to change parameter to change machine from metric system to inch (#1016). I powered down, then up and got Z70 ABS. position alarm for X, Y and Z. Anyone have a procedure for this?

    BTW - the changing of the parameter did not appear to change the machine from metric to inch anyway. I would like to make this change still, how do I go about doing this?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    For basic set up.
    1. For X,Y axis
    1.1 Find the center of spindle and Table move x-210.00mm and y-210.00mm. It is the machine zero point.
    1.2 [DGN/INPUT] --> find manu to [ABS-SRV] screen
    1.3 For setting TYPE X Y Z
    STATUS NG NG NG
    #( 0 ) 1 (input)
    #( 1 ) 1 (input)
    1.4 Move X - by using handle until status OK (Y, Z same)
    2. For Z axis
    2.1 Machine zero point --> using Block gauge H200.0mm or other Hx.x up to you. Move spindle to touch the gauge and move up 250.00mm (20 tool) (200.00mm for other)
    2.3 Setting same X,Y
