That's pretty neat. Do you think it would do a fishing lure?
On the pic attached, I need to try to draw this or try to scan so I can make it a little bigger.

Its a neat scanner but it has a LOT of limitations...

I got to play with one. First off it won't scan black or shiny objects reliably. The lighting has to be PERFECT, and the surface has to be flat and not too textured, also can't be too reflective. It also doesn't do well with overhangs. For example, a figure with an arm, the area under the arm can't be seen and will end up as an open space. Its pretty finicky is the best i can tell you, when it works it works ok, but its definitely a work in progress yet.

The software is ok, but was painfully slow to do a high resolution scan of a small object, at least an hour to scan it and it wasn't that great because the item i tried to scan was a dark gray and it couldn't define it. I tried it again with some added overhead lighting about a foot above the scanner, it did a little better, not great, but was good enough to import the scan into blender and clean it up to make it usable.

Its a neat gadget don't get me wrong, but its definitely not to the point that you can scan something and then print a duplicate, its far from that ability yet. If your desire is to scan objects to use in 3d modeling, game development, 3d designs of buildings or layouts, etc, then its a decent tool but the scans are not out of the box ready to use after your done scanning an object.

Interesting, the only problem is some stuff i wanted to scan couldn't be altered or damaged.

you can make multiple scans and get everthing you want it take a lot of time.
