I found a listing for a used (looks to be quite old) mill. I was hoping to get some advice on if this is really the right machine for my purposes, and what I should check when looking at it.

The machine:
Enco model 01004. It's missing the table turn wheels, and doesn't come with any accessories. It has a 3 phase motor, but I have a old motor from a treadmill with a speed controller that I could retrofit. What should I check for once I go to see the machine to determine if parts are worn out?

Purposes:
I intend to mill fairly small parts that would be used primarily on motorcycles and cars. The largest I could imagine milling would be something that's maybe 6"x3"x3". It would primarily be aluminum, but I have some plans for small stainless parts too. It would be for hobby purposes and I'd like to install it in my basement. That means I'd like to disassemble it as much as possible and carry the parts down stairs, preferably alone.
