Hello Guys,

I`am using Partmaster Lathe V13 and have a Problem... i want to machining a turning objekt from a imported dxf file. how can i set the datum on the right side of this pulley?

Hello

In CAM - chose the Setup icon from the bottom toolbar

Then choose the Origin tab, next to the Origin sizes, Z and X click the select button - it's the mouse pointer with a ?

Move the cursor into the graphics area and right click the mouse - then choose "Near XY extents of the geometry" (this is the same for mill and turn which is why it's XY - but it still works)

Next, move the mouse to the far right of the geometry on the centreline - the mouse will "snap" to the position you require - left click the mouse.

You will see the new sizes in the ZX windows, next check the box "Align geometry origin........"
