I figured because I couldn't find a solution to my particular issue through searching that I would post here for future reference.

Our aged SL-1 with the Yasnac 2000b control was failing to start, the hydraulics would switch on but when powering up the control a contact breaker would open and prevent start up. It began as an intermittent issue in which the control would just power down at random. I had a hunch that the failure was in the 24v/12v/5v power supply (CPS-300). I pulled the supply (which is enormous and heavy) and started looking for the obvious things like blown caps and diodes. Then I noticed that one of the boards on the 5v 30a side was seated in a card edge connector and of course it was loose, but it turned out that the old plastic had cracked right down the middle. I ordered a new 1 x 18 pin (3.96mm spacing) card edge connector, soldered it in, and that was the fix. Part number EB73S-A18SGFX Dale Vishay.
