    avance one tough IGF

    1. Why i cannot use 1 tool offset while i doing grooving process in IGF.

    2. How to cancel the the G41 and G42 while i doing the grooving in IGF transfer to NC program,is it the parameter can set?

    Re: avance one tough IGF

I would suggest to adjust to IGF logic. It's really reasonable and convenient
    1. Grooving insert has two Z offsets: left and right. Right offset is used to cut the right wall of the part, and the left correspondingly.
    That's the Okuma philosophy:
    1. The tool description doesn't depends on part program. Tool description belongs to tools, hence it is a part of machinetool.
    2. The part program is created according drawing. The part program could be transfered to another machinetool without modification. Very easy to understand the necessity of part program modification, since it is closely related to part drawing. Very easy to correct tool wear and accuracy of cut because it does not related to part program.
How to cancel the the G41 and G42 while
you can modify the NC program manually. IGF will alarm the fault otherwise. I think, there is no setting for tool nose radius compensation bypass. There is no point to do that.

If you use "groove", not "wide groove", I think it will use only one offset, the same for "cut-off".
