We have a doosan lynx 220 LY, doosan-fanuc i control, with C & Y axis
I need to mill an M8 external thread onto the face of a 32mm diameter part, the centre of the thread is 12mm radially from the centre of the part, the thread is 8mm deep. (hope the attached sketch works!)
Could someone give me an example program, of this or another thread that I can use to work from. I can probably mill the 8mm blank using polar coordinates, its the thread (helical) milling that is new to me.

I've never actually done it, but try this one (away from the part please)
Milling the spud would be similar.
