    Citizen L7 and M2 macro/parameter question

So we have a mix of L7's, L8's, M2's and M3's. (L7 and M2 are from the same generation, L8 and M3 are also from the same generation)

I am using a macro to verify that our operators have remembered to input some prep data because the machine has the potential to crash if these are forgotten. On the L8's and M3's in the PRM screen, you have #25000 variables to read your Prep Page numbers. For example, #25201 = T1 Core and #25251 = T1 Diameter. You can verify this by simply going to MDI and entering #500=#25201; then looking at #500. It should read whatever your T1 Core is (assuming its not equal to 0).

Anyways, on the L7 and M2, these #25000 variables don't exist, aren't readable, or are some other variable number. My question is, on the M2 or L7's, does anyone know of a way to read the Prep Page numbers through a macro? if I MDI #500=#25201 in a L7 or M2, it just displays 0.0000 even though there is a core value, so it must be a different macro # or something. Anyone know how to read these on older machines?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Citizen L7 and M2 macro/parameter question

If i recall, they are stored in the offset variables that are higher than 40.
So you can poke around with the values like this:
    #500=#10040-99 on up to #18040-99.
Hope that helps, let me know either way, i do not have any older machines to test.
Control the process, not the product!

Thank you Pro Process! that was the ticket! Lets see the operators try to crash it now (knock on wood) (chair)

    for reference
    #10041=T1 Prep Diam (last 2 digits...42=T2, 43=T3 ect..)
#12041=T1 Prep Core (same for the last 2 digits)

#11041 does not read the Longitude though...not that I ever use longitude anyways, but you'd think if 10000 and 12000 are readable 11000 would be too.

    Thanks again
