    Changing the drive belt.

Hi, I have to change the drive belt on a Daewoo Puma 300L and I'd like to know if I can remove the encoder belt without taking any reference or position prior to remove it.
    Regards !

I wouldn't think it would matter. AFAIK, the encoder on the 300L is only used when threading.
