    looking for a programer

I have a milling job and I have ver. 25 Bobcad. I have never done any thing like this on my mill before. It is mill a slot .500 wide 1.75 long and one end angles down 10 deg.and the other end is straight up. I'm looking for some one to program this for me using v25 solfware. I have a picture of part.

Do you have 3 axis standard or 3 axis pro?
Is an easy path to program by hand...

It appears it's open on the other side? You could make this with 2 slots. One using a spline that curves down in to a depth past that of that stoping point, then a straight slot coming from the other direction (possible on the back) that stops short of cutting the angled part away...

Does V25 Standard come with 3 Axis Engrave?, if so this might work. Shaft is cut size with small dim and taper first on lathe if lathe not available you could do that on the mill as well in another operation. None of the sizes in sample or correct except .5 end mill.

I think 3 axis standard, is 2.5D only. I cannot find a way to follow a varied Z path in 3 axis standard.
You have to enter a specific Z depth (2.5D). You could modify the Gcode to add the Z taper...

So in V25 standard for tool path options in 3D the Others selection is not available?

Don't remember. It would be a CAD/CAM solution, if it is available to 3 axis standard.

one of Al's videos does seem to show that Others is available in the V25 Standard and then you can use Tool Pattern Feature for the multiple step downs.

Maybe someone with V25 Standard could reply if Others is Available for sure.

    Thanks Kel for checking

So from what I can tell it seems like it will give the angle cut in V25 Standard and if Tool Path Pattern is used it will give a step down option that which was added in V25.
