Don't have a Sherline, and you have likely read this Gib Replacement on Sherline Tools
Without a Sherline in front of me, the text is unclear to me. My best guess of an interpretation is that they are molded into place, replacements will require adding a gib lock for adjustments. On most other (larger) machines, the adjusting screw is also a keyed or captive screw that holds the gib in place relative to the moving part.
Hopefully someone who has actually done this can help you more definitively. Good luck.
