    mori tv300 msc802m controller

    I am trying to turn off or delete the tool life setup.The mill stops when the program get to T5, thenreports " improper T comand". Please help.

    Gedley, I don't think it's a tool life issue. I can look switching tool life off tomorrow in the manual (if it's of any help) but my guess is you have registered T5 incorrectly (not registered at all or registered in several tool pots) This is what "Improper T command" implies. If you are using tool length comp you must also have a tool length set in the offset/tool offset menu. Worth a check..

    Thanks Harri J, I managed to find the problem at T5, I left the ( off the tool description.
    It is a long program and was very easy to over look a little error like that. Thanks for your input.

    Hi Gedley, you're welcome & glad you sorted it out. Nice machine, annoying control It's taken me the best part of two years to fight through mine. Just "love" those cryptic error messages and parameter naming & input, designed by a bunch of dimwits

    Has anybody programmed a G68 cordinate rotation before all i get is a program error NO COOD-RT SPC G17 G68 X.0 Y.0 R5.0
