    Compressed CO2 for Air Assist

    Hi Folks,

Has anyone ever used a tank of compressed CO2 thru a regulator to provide air assist? I was thinking that since it was CO2 it would eliminate flame-ups. Is this logical or am I missing something here?

I know that forced air or straight oxy would increase my burn temp like how it is used in a cutting torch, but I'm having flame-up issues when cutting wood.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Jessica

Re: Compressed CO2 for Air Assist

We usually use the large air assitant instead of the original small one to solve the buring problem. The speed can not be so slow. While for some kinds of wood which is easily flammble, it seems no good way?
