g540 not working after linux cnc hard disk replacement

so i had a had drive failure and reinstalled EMC on a new drive. now my machine doesnt move.

im sure this is just a stupid settings issue so if anyone can give me the right ones, id be much appreciative.

right now i set the preset to g540.

set the motor step and direction pins - 234567 correctly.
the charge pump on the driver is OFF.
i know my limits are on pin 12/13/14 active low.

after that im confused for the estop and charge pump. i didnt have anything written down and cant recover the old settings. the gecko site appears down, so i cant see the manual.

    thanks in advance!

ok, I think ive narrowed it down to not having the right parallel port address. does anyone know the easiest way to find out the address in Linux? is there a device manager type thing?
