Lightbulb Need HELP with teaching tools on Okuma Lathe!

    Hey there,
I used to run okuma lathes a few years back but for the past several years I have been setting up vertical mills. I'm just getting back into working on Okuma lathes with live tooling and am trying to get the swing of things again. What is the procedure for touching off all tools during a setup for Z0,X0 and also for live tooling? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know it's kind of a stupid question but it's been years since I've setup Okuma lathes.

    Thanks

You take the chip on the axis "Axis" and move the tool away not moving the axis "Axis". Open the door, take a measurement of a workpiece on the axis "Axis".
go to the tool offset and calculate measured value. Repeat the same with all remaining tool approach axes.
