    Increased feedrate, getting rounded corners

I've been trying to cut down the time it takes to do some large rotary work jobs and wanted to increase my feedrate. I increased a job's feedrate and wound up getting curves in the corners that should be square when rouging. I increased the acceleration and the problem goes away, but I start missing steps because the acceleration is too high. I'd like to keep my accelerations low and my velocities higher. It seems like mach 3 moves on to the next line of gcode before the previous line decelerates and finishes fully.

I have motion control set to CV. I'm wondering if this is my problem. Thanks for any help you could offer.

CV is Constant Velocity mode. In order to try and maintain Constant Velocity, mach3 has to round the corners, as you've noticed.
You can try using "Stop CV on angles" to set it to keep some corners square, and still have decent speed. Turning of CV mode will probably not give very desirable results.
