What is going on here?! It used to just be the Y axis, now its all three?! It pulses (sounds more like skipping steps) on a time, not by RPM. Slowed the speeds down, the tempo is still the same.

It sounds more awful on the X&Y axis because of the rattlers I installed. The Z doesn't have a rattler.

That is a software problem on the PC. Something is running that is hogging the CPU, and Mach3 cannot issue the step pulses without a lot of jitter.

I figured as much. all i had on was the browser. I shut down the browser and it worked fine.

What I find weird, is that I can run my CAD program, CAM program, browser with a dozen tabs, and stream music on that machine and never have that problem.

The machine is an X58 platform w/i7 920 quad core CPU. why now? who knows. it works though, so thats all I care about. ill look into it more when I can catch my breath.
