    writing programs use it or loose it

    How do you move a program from mdi into memory on a Haas lathe

    Type a program number in front of it and hit enter I believe.

    Thanks for the answer and the attached thumbnail, i found a similar answer in the Haas manual except it shows the program number (onnnnn) the letter O and five numbers in parenthesis. It would not work when i put the program number in parenthesis. Just put in the letter O and the numbers and it worked like a charm.

    Yep, it's funny that the writers are always putting things in parentheses or quotes to add significance to the words or numbers and that just messes us up!
