    stepper motor wiring question

    hi im fairly new to this but i was wondering if it was possible to wire 2 stepper motors to one output of a 3 axis tb6560 board or do i have to buy a 4 axis and slave one

    any info would be greatly appreciated

    No, you can't do that. If you want to run your X axis with 2 motors, you need to have a drive for each motor, and slave them in the control program. If you haven't bought the tb6560 yet, read up on them in this forum; there are plenty of people here who did - and wish they hadn't.

    Yea that confirmed what i thought. Thanks for your help ill look in to other options
