Question '97 VF7 Front Window Weather stripping

    Hey guys,

I have a Haas VF7 from '97. The two large front windows are held on with this black weather stripping that has been deteriorating over the years.

I contacted my HFO, and they said I need 23.3' of it for both windows. They said they need to order it from Haas and can only get a 50' roll which I need to buy... ... at $4.38/foot.

They are unwilling to purchase half of it for stock and sell me 25'. Does anyone know if I can get another type of weather stripping that would work. Yes the stripping is a PIA to use, but I don't want to get into making brackets/welding strips on like the new doors (although that would be the best option).

    TIA!

Suck it up and you'll have just enough to do it again later!

First time doing it since '97 so I'm not thinking about doing it anytime soon again.

I don't have a source, but here are some pictures of the box.

Be sure to post what you find.

    Good luck.

    !!! Haastec, Thank you!!!

2 minutes of searching and found a local CRL supplier (about 5 mins from me) who stocks it, and the cost is over 50% less than ordering it from my HFO (not to mention no need to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery). Thank you!!

FWIW for anyone searching, look up AS1660 (take away the dash).
