Will have more pictures later, need a guard on the drive and a cover on the coolant recovery system.
Soon will have a youtube video of the system working.

Soon will have more pictures. I built my own heavy base that is wider than the mill and built a 28" wide 34" long conveyor between the legs of the base.
The conveyor dumps the chips into a bin with wheels on it. There is a pan that encloses the chip conveyor to catch all the coolant and drains into
the coolant tank, after it goes through screens and the oil pillow. Took a little figuring, but after the second try got it to be leak prof.
I let it drain over night and run the chip conveyor the next time I fire up the mill. That keeps the coolant out of the chip bin.
The coolant pump has a tee to a coiled garden hose and nozzle, so just hit the panel switch and wash the mill down.
It takes about a minute to clean the mill.

That looks great! I'm eagerly awaiting more photos to drool over.

Your hoist looks suspiciously like a Horrible Fright 60346. If it is, have you figured out a way to lift slower than ~15 feet/minute? I have one and find that it is far too fast to position things precisely.

I doubled the cable that slows it in half. Later I am going to build a new gear reduction box to slow it even more.

At least on my similar hoist the doubled cable gives ~15 fpm and a single cable gives ~30 fpm. If you modify the gearbox I'd love to see the details so that I can do the same.

More pulleys like a block and tackle will work too.

That enclosure looks very useful. I like the shelves on the sides instead of wasted space like the stock overhangs. I have a sandblaster that fits right in there so I filled it up that way. I think I will build some shelves there to store some of the smaller accessories.

This picture shows the clearance for the vise handle and the slots for the chips to
fall on the chip conveyer. TAttachment 237522he 6" vise handle can stay on as it will never hit the enclosure.
The the coolant tank has the screens and oil soak pillow to take care of any small
    chips and oil.

Thank you, So far this enclosure has worked out so well, I am going to scrap the enclosure I built for the first
1100. That enclosure will be the same but geared for folks with less room. Swinging front shelves to get to the
chip bin and coolant system. Oiler, coolant, mister, ect will all be accessed from the front. Double sliding doors.
Also pallet jack/forklift points to just pick it up and move if needed, built in.

Will have more picks soon, here is a picture of the Hoist stored. The arm that holds the hoist
Has been load tested 500lbs. The Attachment 238418

Awesome job. Did you draft up any plans or build it on the fly?

Where did you source the chip conveyor belt from?

I am guessing it would make a mess if you ran the conveyor belt while flood coolant was in operation? What about if you angled the conveyor belt up instead of made it flat? All of the chip conveyors I have seen seem to be angled up at 30-45 degree angles, which allows time for the coolant to drain off before dumping.
