hi.
my first (but not last) post
i have just got a grizzly G0619 mill and i live in norway, so the motor is not going to work since it is 110V..
so my quest to find a alternative motor led me to the "sangmutan solution" with a new motor and driver.
my plan is to go CNC within a year, and i want to mill steel, not just alu.
(is the 1100W motor up to that?)
i can chose between 1100W and 2200W..
and i can only find 2 post commenting on a 2200W on a SX3 and they were negative.
but i wonder why? yes i have to make new mounts and find a new belt, but the added tourqe should be a good thing? 5 kg extra on top is not.. but it is a trade of i guess..
heavy cuts might deflect something, but that is up to the operator, right?
am i missing something here?
any thoughts/opinions is helpful!
