I would like to ask people on this forum for help in finding the most suitable manufacturer for a laser engraving machine for glass doors.
I am hoping to find a machine that can process close to size 183 x 244cms.

I am unsure whether to get a surface engraver or sub-surface engraver; my worry with sub-surface engraving is that the glass will experience spontaneous breakage.
But I am unsure what type of quality we can achieve with surface engraving: will it be a frosted look? Or can we create full photographic images with detailed contrast, resolution, and nuanced shading?

We are interested in all manufacturers from USA or China.

Prices from a company like Cerion in Germany are too high.

We intend to import this machine to Dubai.

The photo shows the surface engraving effect on glass,you can see,not break,a little bit like frost, but Invisible enough ^v^ that's I did in 2013.
And I once engraved on the surface of a mirror which we girl used everyday,no damage at all.

Yes, with reverse function, I think it can. I would like to try when there is a ready machine in factory .I have a photo of tiger engraving on glass but not a person's face.
