    Re: G0720R Inverter died

Hi guys. I'm looking to purchase this machine as I'm not a fan of the gear drive set up on the g0755 or the PM-932. Now seeing this tread i am unsure which way to go. This will just be for manual operation and not sure on a CNC version as of yet. What are your thoughts?

I have done a few things with my mill and so far it has worked without problems. I have not encountered the aforementioned problem with the inverter.

Wanted to buy 0722 , but also very confused after all the info from the forums! So , what you end up buying ? 0755 - pretty good ,but I like to have tapping capability.

    Re: G0720R Inverter died

Hate to revive an older thread, but the control board on my G0720 died a few weeks back. Machine did the tell-tale hard stop after hitting the stop button and would not restart. What a PITA. Rather than shell out for another Chinese board I went the way of a 3-phase AC motor + VFD conversion. In any event, I do have the original control board and motor from this machine if anyone is interested in tinkering, or having a spare motor.
