Thanks for the reply. What tweaks have you done? Our 150 watt laser seems like is not putting out to the max. I need to get some different lenses I know but other than that, any idea how I can tweak mine?

Not so much tweaks - I basically went over the machine checking electrics were connected tight, all bolts and screws were in place, then cleaned all the mirrors/lenses with Isopropyl Alcohol, aligned them the best I could and got the focal length of the lens right. It cuts 3mm ply much better.
In an attempt to level off the 'lumpy' bed I'll be using some alloy honeycomb and u-channel edging to make it nice and flat, and would like to replace the flourescent strip lighting for LED strips, but electronics are not my best topic!
