Need 3 Wire Measuring Formula for Metric Trapezoidal Threads

    Hello all,

does anyone out there now where I can get the formula for measuring Metric 30° Trapezoidal Threads using the 3 wire method? I have been able to find the "Best Wire" formula but nothing else.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Need 3 Wire Measuring Formula for Metric Trapezoidal Threads

You need a DIN 103 / ISO 2901, 02, 03, 04-1977 in English. I don't think there is a 3-wire measurement available. You may also need to know the required tolerance field.
    Anything in your (new) MH?
Some help here: Trapezoidal Coarse Thread DIN 103

At least you will have the bolt dia (inner dia).
