Something amiss maybe motor miswired? any advice?

I'm running mach 3 with a diy machine and vcarve pro. Anything I draw in vcarve is cut as if I were to take the cut preview and lay it face down on the machine instead of face up. So any lettering is written backwards when cut along the x axis which is the only way I've attempted to cut letter due to the orientation of my machine and my software. Could someone point me in the right direction for troubleshooting?

It sounds like one of your motors (X) is running in the wrong direction. Go into Mach3 Configuration/motor outputs/ports and pins and change the direction bit from "Low Active" to high active, or vice-versa.
