Took a few tries and a y-axis extender kit from Wildhorse Enterprises, but I was able to mount a 7" square of aluminum on the rotary table and mill a gear who's finished size is 6 7/8"in diameter. I will admit that it took 4 pieces of stock before I figured out how to cut it and I did push the envelope of the mill. Thank God this is the only gear that I will have to cut that size.
