Hi all

I have a XJ1212 running with NCStudio. I must say i have had absolutely NO issues and has been stable from day 1. I am running at 0.001 resolution on all axis. However this is probably TOO high.

So i was looking at the specs - my machine should Jog at 7000mm/min and cut at 4000mm/min. The max i can set to in NCStudio is 2820. Any higher and I get an error when i click to apply the higher setting.

I thought perhaps it was the resolution, which made sense, so i adjusted the drivers and NCStudio to 0.01 resolution. It still seems the max i can set NCStudio to is 2820.

Any ideas?? Will be a HUGE help.

I didn't know I had a reference switch. .. I really sound ignorant. If I select calibrate the machine moves to the start of X and y and then z moves down and I stop it so it doesn't damage my table. Maybe it won't?

hello thanks to charles I try to install v8 of ncstudio but I have this error:
File signature fail (this file may be broken ot infected by virus)! file signature: E159482B-F31C0700-C7844F0C-004040E1
I try on 2 different pc with windows xp professional.
I disabled firewall but it still doesn't start...
Any idea?

this program using functions that similar as viruses.. your virusprotection or firewall gives false alarm..
like in many other cases..

beyond firewall something still don't let the program run.. please also note it is a trial program..

you have ballscrew and your ""speed"" will be limited by pulses..

means when you set ""precision"" to 0.01 then you need more pulse per unit.. mm or inch..
pci cards maxing out about 150 kHz....

so you might change your settings back and you can use higher feedrates..

Hey victorofga I believe I am set to 0.00625 and I'm running a max that I set of 4000mm/min. I haven't tried faster or adjusting precision as I am pleased with current results

I only have windows firewall that I disabled, and I use windows xp pro, how have I to do? Please...

I don't know gpguit what programs you have installed on your computer..

when you cant install programs that most likely settings problems..

a controlprogram somehow differ from other programs like a wordpad...

this program using direct output unlikely regular programs that working trough on windows drivers.. if you purchased a card from weihong then they going to help you.. Charles posted his email and his Skype... send him message, and if you weren't sure about your card then make a picture and send him..

I contacted charles that sent to me software, but I didn't want stress him via skype on saturday and sunday... I guessed to solve via internet.

Maybe a question for a new thread but is there an output on the stepper drivers or other that I can run a relay from to turn the dust collector on and off. Many times I go out and leave the machine to work but when I get back the job is done but dust collector is still running. It's a waste of electricity.
