How are you trying to open it? Try right clicking on the icon and selecting "Run As Administrator."

You are running windows 7 I think v-19 IS WINDOWS 98 with that I would right click in you v-19 and c trouble shoot compatilty also like Randall say "Run As Administrator."
I have already done compatability wizard with run as admin and different versions of windows, looks like its going to run than nothing.
I will have to call bobcad support. Runs great on my laptop and windows 8.
Randy
The operating system you use makes a difference, not just Vista, 7, or 8, but what version of it, like Home, Professional, Ultimate, etc.. Have you tried Right clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator.?" My desktop computer runs Windows 7 and I can just click open, but my laptop also runs Windows 7 and I have to hit "Run as Administrator."

Something else to try is start checking file paths are all correct.Loaded on C drive,,etc.
Is "Windows" all the way up to date ?
You can try a re-install/repair of V26
Make sure Anti Virus is not messing with it.
If you have support still, just call BoB !!!!
i HAVE DONE MOST OF WHAT YOU SUGGESTED WILL CHECK FILEPATH., OH EVERYTHING IS UP TO DATE BY THE THANKS FOR THINGS TO LOOK
Randall
PS sorry caps
Are you launching BobCad from it's own icon, or from a saved doc icon?
What NVidia driver version are you using? Do a clean uninstall of it (Make sure there are no other video drivers on the system, then re-install it. (With NVidia, a clean install is performed by choosing "custom" then you have a tick to remove all remnants) Be sure no ati, etc......
Do you have a default install? Or did you try to install it to a custom path.
Randall,
Are you still having issues with the software not launching? Does it give any error messages upon starting? Also BobCAD-CAM V25 and BobCAD-CAM V26 cannot be run with any compatibility mode chosen and the dialog box must be unchecked or it will cause the software to crash each time it is opened.
Thanks for suggestions. Called today and finally tech new what it was. My antivirus was the Problem.
deleted installed a different one and I am happy now not to have to rely on laptop.
Randy
Glad to hear that worked Randall. Give us a call if you have any further issues with it.

you figured it out in 2 or 3 questions, very nice. Thanks for your help.

10 days ago the answer was on here, just saying
Your right, turned antivirus off but no effect. I had to uninstall it and get another. I thought that is what you you meant.. Its unsettling to uninstall antivirus without having another that will work with bobcad ready to go.
This is the first version of babcad that my antivirus screwed with.
Randy
After all of these post, we still don't know what anti virus it didn't work!?!?!?

Machineit,
The antivirus in question was Panda Antivirus.
