export the stock results of the “Verify” operations

In Mastercam, I would like to export the stock results of the “Verify” operations after cut by the tool.

There is a button on the “Verify” popup window that has a disk icon, and is labeled “Save stock as a file”. The only output format is STL (STereoLithography) which is not friendly at all to import back into Mastercam or any CAD software that I know of, so it can be useful.

    Is there another way?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    No

but you can define the accuracy of the file to be saved. This HAS to be set ( in verify settings) before running the verify session, it cannot be altered when you do the "save".

    Side note
    - if using the stock STL files for following operations, be warned that it needs to be set coarse. An accurate file can give problems due to too many offset calculations, insufficient memory errors &/or excessive toolpath calculation times.

Well Superman . . . That's not the answer I was looking for, but have to face reality. Thanks for your information, and your side note.
