Crazy question but can someone shed some light please?
Crazy question but can someone shed some light please?
Not 100% sure abour RM, but I think RM is the screw. SFM is single ball nut, as opposed to DFU, which is a dual ball nut.
Hmmm. I was hoping you would be saying the difference is between the screws? On Ebay there is RM1605 and SFU1605 for sale. Both screws. Perhaps one is a different pitch?
I always thought that 16 was the od and 05 was the pitch! I may be wrong (again).

Yes. 16 is the diameter, and 05 is the pitch.
Hi. Yes. Hey but I was more interested in the RM and SFU?
RM: Rolled screw
SFU: Single ball nut
DFU: Double ball nut
Cheers
16 is od and 5mm is pitch, Travels 5mm each rotation of ballscrew. RM- is just a number they use , SFU is mostly a number used by Taiwan ballscrews. But a Taiwan ballnut will not have round plastic dots on ballnut for the lane changer. You will see China ballscrews now using SFU to charge more money
