    Servos...rough movement

I've been forging ahead on my new Tl512. Recently got a new vice and tooling. I ran a program last night and the servos are acting all choppy now. To the point where they start real hard and trip the overload switch on the box. Like they are catching on something but when I turn the screws manually they are super smooth and easy to turn. What's the deal? They act like the settings are making them move in small increments not smooth motions. And I haven't changed my motor tuning. I already had my servo motors tweaked. They were working great. I'm putting together another PC now to see if it makes a difference. I did have my machine running off an IBM ThinkPad.

If it's a contouring type program with lots of small linear moves, make sure you have constant velocity (CV) mode on, assuming you are using Mach3.
