I had this problem before when I first installed Mastercam X on my Windows 7 64 bit machine.
I've been running it now for 3 years.
I decided to clean up the machine and re-install the OS.
Now I keep getting "HASP not found (15)
.
I installed the old drivers , didn't work
I have gone to the Mastercam site and installed the latest drivers for Mastercam , didn't work
I went to the Sentinel site and installed the latest drivers for the HASP , didn't work
I had it run in Windows XP service pack 3 compatibility mode , didn't work

I did all of the above after hitting pressing F8 during system startup to display Advanced Boot Options, and select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

. I've been running this exact software on this exact system for years .. this should not be this hard ..

Did you re-install Mastercam AFTER the OS install ?

The OS needs to know how to run Mastercam, including all shortcuts, extensions, environments, etc. Mastercam needs more resources than just by recognising the HASP

Yes .. I wiped the drive to get a clean start .. Installed the OS and then installed mastercam X.

Well it's obvious that Mastercam X has issues with Windows 7.

I shrunk the partition down and setup dual boot just to see if it was a 32 bit / 64 bit problem .
I installed Windows 7 32 bit on the new partition and Mastercam X will not run. Same error
message as the original post.

For kicks and giggles I loaded Mastercam 9.1 on the partition and it runs fine .. go figure.

Does anyone remember if there was a maintenance release with X or X2. I still have not been able to get x or x2 to work with either windows 7 32 or 64 bit.

well the cloud backup saved me .. I found a Maintenance release 1 service pack 2 and that fixed it ..
