    Drill bits for CNC drilling

I have a project coming up where I will be drilling hundreds of holes in brass and steel.

Normally I just buy cheap jobbers on ebay, and they work alright, but don't last long. I'd like to buy some decent ones without breaking the bank so I don't have to swap them out that often. So I'm looking for suggestions.

I will be drilling in 1/8" brass, 1/4" and 1/2" steel. So stubbys are fine.

I agree with louie. If you get stub carbide, you can drill without spotting.
