Bought a LCTHC from Viper Plasma and Can't get this thing to work. I hooked it up as the manual says and can't get the test mode to do anything. I removed all the wiring to the THC and ran power only to the unit and it behaves the same way. You go to run the test but it flickers where the ref Voltage should be. If I wait long enough I can get the ref voltage to display properly or if I disconnect the THC wire the Ref voltage shows up. What do you guys think?

Hi Larry, I got it installed but there were a few setbacks. The VFD won't run on single phase and the table setup is less than ideal. I plan on rebuilding it this summer and finally put it to work. It's taking a huge amount of floor space but it ended up being a free machine (thanks again btw) so I can't complain.

I'm not sure what the Plasma Viper is (an individual? a company?) but CandCNC is the manufacturer. The guy who owns the company and engineered the products (I gather) posts on here as Torchead. The company's site is candcnc.com. See what they can tell you.
