boundary problems, tool cutting across boundaries

    BC Ver 25 Win7.
I make molds to pour lead in. Most of my molds are made the same way with different sizes and different shapes. the problem I have a lot is the tool cutting across or cutting outside of a boundary. I change the Milling tolerance and try different settings and can't seem to get it to stop. when you open the file you can see the stay toolpath running across where it shouldn't.
the section you will see when you open the file is a hook eyelet and I would prefer it didn't have that line across it when you do the simulation it looks good until it make that line across it. I have used a profile cut on this when the hook diameter is close to my tool size but this one is .052". I always do something to get by but was hoping for some kind of epiphany.:tired:
    thanks!

Maybe I should have asked if you can open that kind of zip file? If you can't, I can zip it with Winzip, let me know if you need that.

I think he just means to ZIP the file instead of the RAR format. I also don't use a RAR converter, so won't be able to help unless you do a ZIP file either. ZIP is already built into Windows (right click send to zip folder), so I've never understood why people user RARs. Must be something better, but I'm not really that interested in yet another application to do something that is already built in.

Edit, you typed the same thought as I was typing.

I did't know that there was a difference. I have Winzip on an older computer and I thought the RAR came with windows 7
    Sorry, my mistake

Are you just wondering about that last "Z-Level Rough" feature? I'll have a look here in a bit, but my first thought is that with Mill Pro I'd probably use Advanced Rough instead and the boundaries can probably be adjusted a little. Going to lunch for now, will have a look when I get back.

Are you using the demo version? For some reason, I can't do anything with the file. I can open it, select things, but I can't generate a toolpath on it or save the geometry out.

I think it's a linking issue with the Z level finish... I would use the Advance rough, which I think you have found worked.

thanks! I also used it on roughing out the cavity and then used the rest roughing and it fixed a problem I had in the big part of the cavity.

That is not the latest and greatest update. 996 was the last one they did for V25.
