Good day folks,

We have a FatHaco lathe with sinumerik 810d controller, which we have had for almost 8years. Usually we just hit the big red button at the end of the day and then carry on from there the next day. However, over the christmas break, the workshop was closed for two weeks, so we powered the whole machine down with the main switch.

On returning to work monday morning, and starting the lathe up, we have a list of error messages and we are unable to get the machine to a usable point.
The two error messages we are left with are:
700036 Future extensions
700132 Drives not ready

The drives not ready I have had before and is solved by restarting the machine. Sadly that doesn't work in this case. The future extensions I've never seen before. The manual has been unhelpful in solving these issues.

Has anyone come across this before?
Suggestions on how to get this machine running again?

Is it possible that your battery that provides juice for the control was weak and died during that two weeks? The machine/control would loose its parameters then.

Hi Machineit,

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. The local Siemens service technicians for our area only open next week. So until then our machine is unusable.
