    Question Bent ball screw?

    Hi, does anyone know what kind of result a bent ball screw (Z-axis) would give on its surface turning a bar in a lathe?

    It would certainly try to move the saddle, and cause a ripple effect on diameters. Usually though a bent ballscrew will cause servo overloads.
